Shadow Case

The Shadow Case is a visually distinct and historically significant CS:GO (now CS2) weapon case that was released on September 17, 2015. This case contains 16 unique Community-designed weapon skins, featuring a dark, aggressive, and industrial aesthetic. It is most famous for being the exclusive debut of a completely new category of melee weapons.

As a special rare item, the Shadow Case drops exactly one type of knife: the Shadow Daggers. These unique "push daggers" were the first dual-wielded knives in Counter-Strike history, featuring a distinct double-fisted combat style. They can be unboxed in the 13 original finishes, including highly valuable and iconic patterns like Fade, Slaughter, Crimson Web, and Case Hardened.

The Shadow Case was added to the game on September 17, 2015, during the "Shadow Boxing" update. This release was a major milestone because it challenged the traditional "single blade" meta of the game, giving players a brand-new way to showcase their rare special items with unique pull-out and inspect animations.

Historically, this case is most famous for introducing the USP-S | Kill Confirmed. The case features 16 community-created skins categorized into four standard rarities: 7 Mil-Spec, 4 Restricted, 3 Classified, and 2 Covert. Beyond its aggressive firearm skins, its rare special item pool is strictly limited to the first generation of Shadow Daggers, making it the only source for these specific daggers in their original finishes.
